Product overview

HDPE 5110

Product overview

HDPE 5110 is a high-density polyethylene film-grade material widely used in the production of blown films, industrial packaging, grocery bags, and high-strength thin films. This grade offers excellent processability, good stiffness, high tensile strength, and outstanding environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR). Its balanced mechanical properties make it suitable for both lightweight and heavy-duty packaging applications.

Introduction to HDPE 5110

1

HDPE 5110 is a high-density polyethylene film grade designed for producing strong and durable films with excellent mechanical and optical properties.

2

It provides high tear resistance, good tensile strength, and superior durability, making it ideal for packaging applications that require reliability.

3

Due to its excellent processability and melt strength, HDPE 5110 is widely used in blown film extrusion for various industrial and consumer packaging needs.

Applications

01

Blown Film Extrusion

Used extensively in producing high-strength blown films for packaging and industrial use.

02

Grocery & Shopping Bags

HDPE 5110's high tensile strength makes it ideal for thin yet durable shopping bags.

03

Industrial Packaging Films

Suitable for general-purpose and heavy-duty packaging applications due to strength and stiffness.

04

Food Packaging Films

Provides hygienic, clean, and food-safe film structures for direct food contact applications.

05

Liner Bags & Garbage Bags

Excellent for producing liners and waste bags with good puncture resistance.

Production Processes

01

Blown Film Extrusion

HDPE 5110 granules are melted and extruded through a circular die to form a film bubble. Air inflation and controlled cooling shape the film into thin yet strong layers.

02

Pellet Processing & Film Winding

After film formation, rollers flatten, cool, and wind the film for packaging. Quality checks ensure thickness uniformity and mechanical performance.
