The 29/25 opening, known in Iran as the Short Neck preform, is a newer and lighter design than the relatively older and heavier 30/25 opening, which is mainly used in the packaging of mineral and drinking water. Given the low weight of this type of preform neck and bottle cap, this opening is also a good option for packaging other non-carbonated products.
